Cast aluminium base supported by four continuous splaying tubular chromed legs joined at the base by a central boss. Traditionally with a cork seat, this one has been upholstered in grey velvet at some point.

From the little we were able to find from researching was that these stools were manufactured by Lightalloys Limited as they produced the trade marked ALPAX aluminium silicon alloy that the seat of these stools in made from. The designer at this point remains unknown.
